Event insurance adds piece of mind for you by protecting your investment from all the things we cannot control. Take for instance, your venue changes ownership and cancels your event, or a custom element is ruined in transit.
Insurance can be complicated business, and event insurance is no exception. Similar to how your car insurance has both liability and comprehensive options, event insurance typically comes in two flavors: liability and cancellation.
Liability insurance protects you from responsibility from any accidents or injuries during your ceremony or reception, and yes, alcohol-related incidents, too. Some venues require this, and your local jurisdiction may also require it for a liquor permit. Rehearsal dinners are not always covered, but can sometimes be added on as an option.
Cancellation insurance reimburses you for all money spent in the event your event has to be called off*. There are some exceptions to this and they almost exclusively apply to a third party paying for the event.
Event insurance can be added to your current home insurance policy as a rider, or you can use wedsafe.com or wedsure.com.

After booking (signing our contract, and paying a 50% deposit) we provide you a Visual Plan (Google Sheets) that you update with how you would like the room decorated and what you will be providing us for decor. In that template we ask you to:
Around two weeks before your event we will send you an email asking for you to share back your template (if you haven't already) and to schedule a final walkthrough/hand off of your decor. We ask that your decor be given to us at your earliest convenience. At that walkthrough we'll reconfirm times and decorating details.
We'll decorate our showroom as you've shown us in the Visual Plan with our rentals and your personal decor, the only exception is balloon art- if you would like us to do this it is an additional charge. We will not set up food or beverages but we will have tables, plates, platters, dispensers for you to use if it is in the Visual Plan.
We'll have the space ready for you to do food and beverage set up at least one hour before your event start time. The first hour before your event is complimentary, but if you require a longer time that will be added to your hourly cost. This is not applicable if you are renting the space for a full day.
All guests must be reasonably out by your event end time and no later than 10pm. With advanced notice, we are willing to discuss events ending past 10pm.
Our restroom is on the first floor and all table seating occurs on our second floor.
