Tess and Will’s wedding at Adirondack Camp in Putnam Station, New York captured everything a camp wedding should be. It was laid-back, joyful, personal, and completely unforgettable.

Surrounded by trees and the lake, their weekend-long celebration blended summer camp charm with the style of a modern wedding. From thrifted rug aisle runners to a canoe filled with cold drinks, every detail had purpose and personality.

A Heartfelt Ceremony by the Lake

The ceremony took place in a wooded clearing. Family sat in the front rows with the wedding party just behind them. Vintage rugs lined the aisle. Two fern-topped pillars marked the start of the walk.

Decorated oars stood at the altar—a nod to camp life and lake memories. The couple’s dog stole the show, trotting down the aisle with a lion latch clipped to her collar.

A close friend officiated the ceremony. A tree-planting unity ritual added meaning to the moment. Everything felt grounded and true to Tess and Will.

Cocktail Hour with Canoe Bar & Camp Vibes

After the ceremony, guests moved to the patio outside the reception hall. Adirondack chairs and lounge seating provided relaxed spots with lake views. A canoe filled with beer, seltzers, and sodas served as a DIY cooler station.

Meanwhile, Traveling Tavern poured drinks from their signature mobile bar. A nine-foot charcuterie table and passed appetizers kept guests fed as the sun dipped behind the mountains.

A Reception Full of Color, Candles, and Campfire Magic

Inside the reception hall, Tess and Will created a romantic, vintage-inspired space. Greenery runners, candles, and organized tabletop bins dressed each guest table.

A large seating chart outside guided everyone to their place. The sweetheart table featured florals repurposed from the ceremony and bouquets. Instead of a traditional guestbook, guests signed a planter for the couple’s unity tree.

Pickles, Cupcakes, and Adirondack Charm

Rather than traditional favors, guests took home jars of Tess’s homemade pickles. Cupcakes and a cake topped with tiny Adirondack chairs awaited dessert lovers.

A vintage suitcase with bunting signs collected cards. The dance floor stayed packed all night thanks to DJ Dean.

Designed With Heart, Lived With Joy

Tess and Will’s wedding was more than a party. It reflected their values—nature, family, tradition, and joy.
