When a couple combines meaningful tradition, joyful creativity, and a serious love for vintage details, you get something truly magical. Sarah and Seth’s September wedding at Sugarbush Resort in Warren, Vermont was exactly that. With sweeping mountain views, a chairlift ride to the ceremony, and a reception packed with personality, their day was the perfect mix of heartfelt and fun.

A Ceremony on Top of the World
The couple’s ceremony took place at Sugarbush’s mountaintop site, surrounded by fall foliage and expansive Green Mountain views. Guests arrived via chairlift—an unforgettable start to the day. Chairs were set in an angled layout to highlight the natural backdrop. The ceremony design was minimal, with florals from Glad Farm added to the arbor for a soft, seasonal touch.
Sarah and Seth included a ring-warming ceremony, inviting guests to bless the bands before the vows. Loved ones offered readings, and the couple’s closest family members filled the front rows. The result was simple, intimate, and completely focused on the moment.

Playful, Personal Cocktail Hour
Back down the mountain, guests were welcomed with a mimosa bar, vintage linens on cocktail tables, and tabletop games. Appetizer stations featured fresh fruit, vegetables, hummus, and cheeses. Custom signage helped guests navigate the festivities.
Lawn games—including Connect Four, cornhole, Kan Jam, and ladder golf—were set up early so guests could enjoy the afternoon. Friendly Lenz provided a vintage photo booth and guestbook station, complete with stickers and markers to personalize their messages.

A Reception That Felt Like Home
The reception was held indoors, with tables covered in a mix of vintage and vintage-inspired tablecloths. Seth’s mother hand-painted each table “number” and escort card. Place settings included ceramic centerpieces, pillar candles, and dried floral arrangements. Napkins varied by table to reflect the couple’s eclectic, collected style.
Sarah and Seth’s sweetheart table was extra meaningful—it was a restored piece Seth built himself. With their own chairs, a special centerpiece, and a view of the entire room, the table felt both personal and elegant.

Sweet Treats and Creative Touches
Dessert was a showstopper. Seth built a cupcake display modeled after a rustic waffle cabin. Guests chose from apple cider donuts and three kinds of cupcakes: Guinness chocolate, vanilla, and waffle-inspired. Everything was displayed on vintage stands and paired with custom signage.
The favor table featured assorted candies in custom bags. Vintage linens and scoops completed the nostalgic, playful feel.
Camp Vibes, Mountain Views, and a Lot of Heart
Sara and Seth’s wedding was more than a celebration—it was an experience. From the moment guests rode the chairlift to the last board game played at the reception, the day felt true to the couple’s spirit: creative, relaxed, and full of love.
We were honored to be part of their day and bring their vintage camp-inspired vision to life.
