Sarah and James welcomed the new year with a cozy, elegant wedding. Their day blended Hotel Saranac’s vintage charm with Adirondack magic. From a forest ceremony to a candlelit reception, every moment felt romantic and personal.
A Ceremony in the Snow
The couple said “I do” at Paul Smith’s amphitheater. Evergreen trees and soft white lights framed the space. Guests sat on wooden benches lined with wool blankets and lanterns.
Decor remained simple and striking. Fir trees, a green runner, and candlelight grounded the ceremony in nature. Assorted Artistries provided lanterns, blankets, and lighting for warmth and ambiance.
Ushers and signs guided guests to their seats. Hand warmers were given out as guests arrived.
Fireside Cocktails and Signature Sips
Guests returned to Hotel Saranac’s Grand Hall for cocktail hour. Signature drinks included “The Acorn,” a pecan pie old fashioned, and “The Thimble,” a fall margarita.
Gold-rimmed signs and mercury votives styled the bar. Cocktail tables glowed with greenery and candlelight. The room felt festive and intimate.
A Reception Inspired by Forest and Flame
Inside the ballroom, the couple blended forest vibes with vintage elegance. Long farm tables featured pine garlands and golden taper candles.
Each place setting had a gold charger, a white napkin, and custom menus and name cards. Guests found their seats easily with name cards already in place.
The sweetheart table included the bride’s bouquet and cascading garlands. Behind it, a champagne tower sparkled near the dance floor.
Guestbook Calls and Vintage Keepsakes
Guests left voice messages using “After the Tone.” This setup lived inside a Hotel Saranac phone booth. The couple’s nieces helped guide the guestbook experience.
Miniature “record” cards and a faux “Wedding Album” served as creative, personal favors.
Sweet Endings by the Fire
The dessert table offered packaged s’mores and gluten-free Milk Bar truffles. Vintage cake plates displayed the treats. Guests relaxed by fire pits wrapped in fleece blankets.
These blankets doubled as favors. Every detail, from signage to s’mores, reflected the couple’s love of cozy nights and shared memories.
A Winter Wedding to Remember
Sarah and James created a warm, joyful celebration in snowy January. Their wedding mixed thoughtful details with seasonal magic.
Assorted Artistries loved helping bring their vision to life. We look forward to creating more winter wedding dreams in the Adirondacks.
