A Hopping Good Time: A “Some Bunny Turns 1” Birthday

We recently had the pleasure of transforming a space into a whimsical wonderland for a very special first birthday celebration! Our amazing clients, Jessica and David, who we had the joy of working with on their wedding a few years ago, came to us with a vision for a “Some Bunny Turns One” themed party for their daughter, Lily.

Cara knew exactly what she wanted: a whimsical and playful atmosphere inspired by Beatrix Potter’s classic tale of Peter Rabbit. They envisioned a space filled with soft colors, adorable bunny details, and plenty of interactive elements to keep their little guests entertained.

We embraced this delightful theme and created a truly unforgettable celebration. The room was decorated in soft pastels of pink, green, and gold, with artfully draped chiffon. Our skinny galvanized stem tubs were perfect vessels for the soft pink hydrangea silk flowers and were perfectly complimented by our woven chargers. We scattered antique votives and battery operated votives along our draped tables to add just the right amount of sparkle.

We artfully placed an assortment of rabbit figures as part of the tablescape and displayed adoptable bunnies for guests to take home, adoption certificate and all.

The centerpiece of the party was a beautiful staged high chair on our stage, with custom wrapping paper hand made by Cara. Our repurposed mailbox served as the perfect card box and was set next to Celine’s rocking bunny. Everyone loved watching Celine smash her bunny cake before opening presents. Our Vintage French Country chair was the perfect shade of green to pull the look together.

Cara and family arranged an array of sweet treats, including carrot cake cookies, cheesecake bites placed on our collection of pink depression glass. The “Some Bunny Turns One” theme was carried through to the showroom, with Celine’s favorite stuffies in attendance with her reading chair and our assortment for petite seating.

The “Some Bunny Turns One” birthday party was a hopping good time for everyone involved! The little guests had a blast exploring the playful space, while Cara and Justin were thrilled to see their daughter Celine enjoying her special day. It was a beautiful reminder of the joy that themed parties can bring, and we loved being a part of creating such a magical celebration for this wonderful family.
