Galentine’s Day: Celebrating the Power of Besties!

Forget the roses and chocolates, this February 9th was all about celebrating the incredible friends in our lives at Assorted Artistries’ “Mimosa’s & Mayhem: Galentine’s Edition” event! Our downtown Plattsburgh showroom transformed into a haven for platonic love, filled with laughter, self-discovery, and (of course) delicious mimosas.

The night kicked off with grabbing their disco inspired heart beverage holder, personalized with their name, of course. From there they visited our guest bartender Jeremiah and chose between our two mimosa drink specials. Then off to the second floor for the girl dinner of our dreams – grazing tables filled with treats both savory and sweet. From prosciutto to donuts.

The gals then gained exclusive access to our third floor where they were fascinated by their Moon Sign Chart Reading by astrologer Brooke Wyand. By delving into the unique energies of our moon signs, Brooke shed light on our emotional core and how we connect with others on a deeper level. It was a powerful reminder of self-love’s importance – understanding ourselves is the first step towards recognizing and embracing the love our friends offer us.

The night continued with a touch of lighthearted fun and icks with the The Luxury Photobooth Experience’s shocking Confessional Booth. Here, besties got shared “What should be an ick about your bestie, but that’s why you love them?” From there the gals were able to create gifs and montages in the confessional, too! They captured hilarious (and maybe slightly embarrassing) moments together. It was a reminder that true friendships thrive on honesty, vulnerability, and shared secrets.

While they waited to confess and have their chart read, Kelcie Janelle Photography captured the essence of the evening with adorable Besties Photo Sessions. These mini-shoots weren’t just about documenting the night, they were a celebration of the unique bond shared by best friends. The genuine laughter, warm hugs, and goofy poses perfectly captured the magic of female friendships.
